So like most retail investors my portfolio has been seriously gut checked over the past month and the last 3 months of 2018. My stock portfolio kind of looks like Michael B. Jordan looked halfway through Creed II. No one likes losing money and even more so no one likes not knowing how long this will last. As it stands this may continue for a while.

A stock that doesn't sell off in a down market is the equivalent of a winner in an up market. These stocks can provide shelter in a market under fire and should be the first ones to rebound when the market is done selling off. The lists are separated by two of the major stock indices the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500. This data is as of 12/20/18.
